Common questions for the US team
What can the US team help with?
For individuals: Form 1040 and state returns, Form 1040-NR for non-resident filers, and ITIN applications. For businesses: federal and state income tax returns, EIN applications, Form 5472 for LLCs with a foreign owner, Form 1120-F for US branches, and sales tax registration and filing.
Do I need to be in the US to work with you?
No. You do not need to visit an office. The team works with clients remotely, across time zones.
I have missed several years of IRS returns. Is that a problem?
It is common and it can be fixed. Tell us which tax years are outstanding, which states are involved and whether the IRS has written to you. We will set out how to bring each year up to date.
Is the first conversation free?
Yes. The first conversation is free, and nothing is billed until you have agreed a written scope and a fixed fee.
How are fees set?
Every engagement has a fixed fee based on the work involved, agreed in writing before we start.
Should I send documents with the first message?
US pricing page
What happens after I send this?
A member of the US team reads it and comes back with any questions, then a written scope and a fixed fee. Work only starts once you have accepted it.
