How our UK pricing works
You will know the number before we start. Every engagement is scoped first, priced as a fixed fee, and agreed in writing before any work begins.
Two kinds of UK engagement, each priced on what the work actually involves
No two positions cost the same, so we do not publish a standard rate. These are the things that move the number when we scope it. All quotes exclude VAT.
Your personal UK filings
Company directors and shareholders, people with share options, anyone arriving in or leaving the UK, investors, and families planning ahead.
Your figure comes from a free scoping call, and it is fixed and agreed in writing before any work starts.
Your company’s year
First companies, owner-managed companies, groups and scale-ups, UK subsidiaries of overseas parents, and UK businesses trading abroad.
Your figure comes from a free scoping call, and it is fixed and agreed in writing before any work starts.
Two clients with the same job title can need very different work, and a published rate would be wrong for most of them. We would rather scope your actual position, quote one figure for it, and hold that figure, than put a number on a web page that neither of us can rely on. The scoping call and the quote are free, and you are under no obligation after either.
Some UK positions need a conversation first
None of these cost more by default. They just cannot be priced honestly from a web page, so we scope them on a call.
UK and US filings that need to run together are handled by the corridor practice rather than here.
Consolidation, intercompany and group relief change the shape of the work.
The scope depends on how many years are open and what was filed, if anything.
We will tell you what it is and what it needs before we quote for it.
That sits with UK Property Accountants, our specialist group firm, not with us.
Planning work is scoped to the question in front of us, not to a return.
